Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-functional collaboration with Product Designers, Product Managers, Voice of the Customer, Research, and Brand Strategists to help customers understand how to make the most of their TV-viewing experience
Develop concise, easy-to-understand, and practical solutions that delight customers
Rapidly iterate alongside Designers, producing compelling and intuitive copywriting solutions for everything from low-fidelity wireframes through high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and final delivery
Attend Design Reviews, contributing feedback that influences the overall user experience
Conduct user tests, research, surveys to capture and understand real users’ motivations, goals, and pain points; and then help conduct research to evaluate how well your UX writing helps customers understand
Dig into qualitative insights and social media feedback to identify points of confusion for customers
Present your work to various stakeholders, explaining your creative process and how your final solutions align with the product goals
Conduct end-to-end audits of our current products and deliver improvements to our voice and tone that aligns with the overall brand
Maintain a style guide with usage rules to drive consistency and demonstrate how our brand voice and product voice come together in various ways in our product experience
Evangelize and advance great UX copywriting and customer-centricity throughout the organization
Instrumental in driving best practices around a UX copywriting process that involves multiple disciplines
Influence how we position features, products and services, by collaborating with Marketing to develop a content strategy for our .com experiences that helps them find the TV package that’s right for them
Continuously evangelize their product domain and customer-centricity throughout the organization
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
5+ years of UX Copywriting experience at consumer-focused product companies with a track record of shipping improved copywriting that demonstrably improved the user experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Exemplary writing and communication skills and clean command over information hierarchy
Ability to communicate creative decisions clearly and effectively across all functions and levels of the org
Experience developing, implementing, and driving the writing process end to end, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to discover the solutions that exceed user expectations
Sees customer problems as opportunities and obsesses over finding the best solution
Experience working within a product team focused on shopping, purchase funnel, and account management experiences
Kind, friendly and enjoy working with people to accomplish goals
Online portfolio that shows clear copywriting that yielded results, strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Fluent in the latest UX Copywriting trends
Passion for digital video, streaming, and TV industries
Experience developing content for a Video Consumption experience is a plus
Experience personally conducting user testing and research is a huge plus

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
