Workway, Inc. is hiring: Web Content Editor/Writer in Fort Washington

This position is hybrid, with one in-office day on Wednesdays. The Web Content Editor/Writer is responsible for the below specific duties.

Your specific duties will include:

• Reviewing and refining product descriptions for publication on our website and various third-party real estate platforms.
• Proofreading, editing, and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of supplied copy per style guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Content Management and Architectural Marketing teams by providing feedback to improve AI-generated content through prompt engineering.
• Editing and/or creating product and location messaging to ensure accuracy and alignment with the brand voice.
• Participating in community and naming brainstorming sessions and finalizing presentations for approval.
• Providing real-time grammar and style support to internal clients during normal working hours.

Specific qualifications for the position include: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in editing and/or writing.
• Proven experience working in a high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with style guidelines, including AP Style.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal clients at various levels.
• A strong interest in AI and experience using prompt engineering to optimize generated copy.

Pay Rate Range: $32.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
