Position Overview:

The Director, Marketing at Gasser Chair will report directly to the CEO/President and will have direct and indirect reports within the Sales and Business Development teams. The Director, Sales/Marketing will work closely with the leadership team to align sales and marketing strategies with the company's overall business goals and objectives.

The position is responsible for leading Gasser Chair's marketing initiatives with a strong focus on supporting and driving sales growth. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute marketing campaigns that directly influence revenue, optimize customer engagement, and elevate Gasser Chair's brand within the highly competitive seating industry.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales and sales management to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with sales goals, customer needs, and market trends.

Responsibilities: Sales-Driven Strategy Development: Design and implement marketing strategies that support sales goals, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives, including lead generation and customer retention. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends. Provide actionable insights to the sales team to optimize their strategies. Brand Management: Oversee and maintain the consistency and strength of the Gasser Chair brand across all channels, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and customer expectations. Campaign Execution: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, trade shows, email marketing, and content creation. Customer Relationship Marketing: Develop and maintain strategies to enhance customer loyalty and increase lifetime value, leveraging insights from sales data and customer feedback. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the marketing team to ensure productivity, creativity, and alignment with the organization's objectives. Digital Marketing Optimization: Drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, social media, and website optimization, to increase lead generation and online sales support. Sales Enablement: Develop sales enablement tools, including presentations, collateral, and case studies, to empower the sales team. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and reporting to evaluate campaign performance, refine strategies, and deliver measurable results tied to sales metrics. Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum ROI. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and product development teams to support the launch of new products and communicate their value to customers. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; related graduate level degree is a plus. Sales and Sales Management Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales or sales leadership role, preferably in a B2B manufacturing or related industry. Marketing Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading a marketing team, with 5+ years of marketing management experience. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the furniture, seating, or manufacturing industry preferred but not required. Data-Driven Approach: Expertise in using marketing analytics and sales data to drive decision-making and optimize performance. Strategic Mindset: Strong ability to align marketing strategies with sales objectives to deliver measurable results. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and results to executive leadership and stakeholders. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems, marketing automation tools, and digital marketing platforms.

Physical Requirements:

The Director, Marketing at Gasser Chair will primarily work in an office environment but is expected to travel regularly to attend trade shows, visit customers, and support regional sales initiatives. This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer, and communicate effectively via phone and video conferencing. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be necessary for trade show preparation or event setups.
