Broadcast Associate Job at Paramount Pictures in Stamford

The Broadcast Associate will be responsible for a variety of production responsibilities to support our studio coverage. Responsibilities include coordinating graphics on studio shows, as well as sport specific research, especially CBS Sports Golazo Network, UEFA Champions & Europa League, Serie A, EFL and Concacaf. The Broadcast Associate will also obtain, organize, and log video footage for use in shows and other production elements.

This is a position based in Stamford, CT. Non-traditional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays are to be expected.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as Graphics/Font Coordinator on studio shows across our various soccer properties
2. Research newsworthy events related to all our soccer properties
3. Collaborate on high-end graphic and visual ideas for talent and studio coverage
4. Some travel as needed
5. Create graphics, storylines and breaking news for our soccer coverage

Basic Qualifications:

1. Experience in sports (internships or full-time)
2. Able to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment
3. High knowledge of soccer, both internationally and domestically
4. Able to work under tight deadlines and handle a high-pressure environment
5. Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
7. Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
8. Must be able to be in the studio on show days in Stamford, CT

Additional Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred
2. Control room experience
3. Bilingual abilities a plus
