Desert Lab Studio, LLC. is hiring: Graphic Designer in Tucson

Desert Lab Studio LLC is seeking a self-motivated, self-starting, and determined professional for our design team, based out of our Tucson headquarters. The purpose of this position is to create and design standout user experiences with our products and for custom customer projects. This position is expected to work with prepress, Canva/XD, web, UI/UX, web application, and video production design projects.

Marketing and social media management is also part of the gig. Help grow our products and the exposure of our customers with social media, search engine optimization, and marketing tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Follow approved design patterns to implement intelligent designs
2. Brainstorm and mockup design ideas
3. Solve software and app UX issues with interactive mockups
4. Practice usability testing and design refinement
5. Produce marketing material for print or publication
6. Manage social media and marketing campaigns
7. Handle criticism and rejection positively and constructively
8. Demonstrate a willingness to work outside traditional designer roles

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Provide a solid portfolio of design and/or illustration work
2. Exhibit proficiency in Adobe CC software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
3. Must pass a background check
4. Local Tucson applicants only—no relocation packages available

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
2. Experience as a Front-End Developer or UX Designer a tremendous plus
3. Skills in animation or video production
4. Skills in 3D rendering
5. Experience in Search Engine Optimization and Internet Marketing
