Full Stack Web Developer Job at Pioneer State Mutual Insurance Company in Flint

An opportunity is available for an intermediate level skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing innovative web applications and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve their craft. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 1-5 years of professional experience with the following frameworks, tools and technologies:

• C#, .NET and .NET Framework
• XML/XSLT/JSON
• Microsoft SQL Server

Other preferred skills & qualifications:

• TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Experience in the Personal and Commercial insurance industry a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

This position is based out of our Home Office in Flint, Michigan with the current hybrid work schedule:

• Monday and Friday: optional WFH
• Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday: in-person at home office location
