JOB SUMMARY
An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Lighting Designer will design, demonstrate and sell low voltage lighting systems primarily during the evening hours. All sales leads are pre-qualified before a sales appointment is set. The expectations for closing rates are 65%-75%.

Conducting on-site lighting demonstrations at the customer's residence that take roughly 90 minutes eachUnderstanding and recognizing the value in the product and process that you are selling to the homeownerSitting down with the customer in their home to discuss our sales process; providing an overview of the company, re-qualifying the customer's needs and investment range, and setting up lighting design with a demonstration kitPreparing a proposal for the design demonstrated and closing the saleRe-visiting the customer within 3 days of install to perform a nighttime adjustment to ensure they're satisfied or to recommend additional lightingAbility to conduct nighttime demonstrations at least 2-3 nights per week, including Fridays if necessaryHaving a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)Reliable attendance and punctualitySupport in lead generation and customer loyalty programsObtaining referralsConducts customer needs analysisDiscusses features and benefits with customersDesigns lighting set upSchedules follow upEnters data into customer relationship management softwareCommunicates instructions to teamDoor taggingOTHER DUTIES MAYBE ASSIGNED TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS
Assisting with home showsTransporting marketing materialsNeighborhood marketing (hanging door tags), distributing flyersDisposing of packaging materialsSpeaking with the customer to up-sell other productsProvide customer with system orientation as applicableProviding direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicableSpeaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services availableESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
