Job Description
Stratacomm is seeking a passionate, resourceful and results-driven Account Director – Advertising to join our team and work on a large, national brand. You have a solid background in account management and have worked in an agency setting. You thrive in creative, collaborative and fast paced environments. You think on your feet and are an expert problem-solver. You can give creative feedback, handle a client emergency and review a media plan all in a day's work. You are in the thick of it – engaging with all departments, all the time – and loving it.
- Build rapport and credibility with clients by understanding their business, engaging in frequent contact and providing strategic consue development of integrated communication strategy and write communication plans for campaigns/projects to support the overall client objective(s).
- Understand and distill complex topics into compelling messages for target audiences, as well as the ability to extract insights and summarize data.
- Manage large-scale advertising activities, including drafting creative and media briefs, overseeing consumer market research, coordinating in-house creative development including on-set video/TV production, evaluating paid media plans, executing bespoke media content production with media teams and vendors, and developing recommendations based on campaign tracking and reporting.
- Develop various written communications to support special projects, including high-level client presentations, talking points, strategy memos, reports, etc.
- Plan and manage experiential/media events on the client's behalf.
- Review materials before client presentations and final production to ensure quality and completeness.
- Create, track, schedule and monitor timelines for multiple client projects. Experience working in Asana a plus.
- Inspire, motivate, train and mentor associate team members as appropriate.
- Assist Account Leads with financial management, including scoping new projects, updating budget trackers and managing individual campaign budgets, reviewing time entries for invoicing, and developing monthly activity reports.
- Champion agency process to ensure quality of work.
- Develop proactive business-building ideas for client and agency.
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications or similar field.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in client services, preferably within a fully integrated advertising agency.
- Highly organized team player with effective time management and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to independently initiate drafts of a wide range of communications materials.
- Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of paid media/advertising and KPIs.
- Strong desire and ability to contribute to the firm’s growth, marketing and business development.
- Previous experience working on video/TV production is a plus.
