We are a locally owned and operated, award-winning, design & remodeling firm with a retail showroom seeking to grow our team with the addition of a Design Assistant.


We are a creative and motivated group with diverse backgrounds and are seeking someone with similar energy, passion, and drive. We work directly with industry leading manufacturers, designers, architects, contractors, and homeowners to complete turn-key remodels, create award-winning designs, and facilitate sales of interior finishes.


We're seeking someone motivated and driven who is passionate about design and customer service. Residential CAD/SketchUp experience is necessary. Our product and service offerings are unique, almost always custom, and extremely detail-oriented. Applicants must be highly organized, great communicators, and team oriented. As a Design Assistant, you will work out of our main showroom location in Englewood, as well as accompany Designers on appointments in clients' homes and in other showrooms/job sites.


Duties will consist of assisting design staff with developing plans and models, materials/sample selection and day-to-day operations. This role is designed to give you the experience and training necessary to prepare you for a successful career as a Designer within our team.

Compensation:

$40,000

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating detailed, accurate, standardized CAD plans & SketchUp models
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the showroom to ensure an attractive and welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with designers to source materials and samples for client presentations and projects
  • Support the design team in creating sample boards and design presentations for client meetings
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings with clients to showcase showroom products and discuss design options
  • Learn, learn, learn!
Qualifications:
  • Experience in interior design or related field
  • Proficiency in architectural design software: AutoCAD & SketchUp
  • Strong communication social and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, self-motivate and self-direct
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Passion for Design
