Brand Designer at Marin Skincare

Description

Marin Skincare is a quickly growing skincare brand in Portland, ME seeking an empathetic, enthusiastic Brand Designer to join our high-performing, purpose-driven team. Marin is a four-year-old startup creating skincare products for people with dry, damaged, eczema-prone skin, using a protein found in lobster as the key ingredient, and to say the least, our DTC growth has been explosive. Following national news coverage, viral TikToks and launching with L.L. Bean, we’re excited to bring new team members into our dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Joining the team in a stage of rapid growth, you’ll take Marin emails, ads and overall design to the next level - you’re the creative execution through which the brand comes to life in each facet of graphic design. On a weekly basis, you’ll work collaboratively with the Founders, Head of Marketing and Head of Social to design emails, paid ad creatives, organic social creatives, site landing pages, merch and more.

Every visual moment the brand shows up an opportunity to storytell, educate and entertain - it’s your job to bring the brand to life while accomplishing our marketing goals in a disruptively creative, authentic manner. From clean, salient email storytelling to scroll-stopping ads, and visually compelling website journeys to collectable merch drops, your role will be a blend of dynamic collaboration and independence.

While every day is a new adventure, the focus areas of this role are email & SMS design (60%), paid social creatives (20%), landing page creation (10%) and supporting marketing collateral creation (10%), with the opportunity to grow and be exposed to more areas of the business.

You think deeper than literal and seek to communicate multi-dimensionally through copy, color, shapes, textures and other thoughtful elements of the creative multiverse. You have your finger on the pulse for the latest cool brands, design trends and best practices, but you’re not afraid to experiment with what you think could work.

You’ll become an integral part of our collaboratively entrepreneurial culture of hard work, high energy, fun and fulfillment in the work we do – rooted in a core value of Quality of Life for our customers, people and planet. We’re excited to bring on people who are radically ambitious, ready to ‘lean in’, be invested in growing the brand as much as they’re invested in growing themselves personally and professionally, to drive rapid growth and join the impact-driven journey that is Marin.
