The Sr. Manager/Director of PR for Citizens of Humanity Group will lead US public relations activities across the company’s portfolio of premium brands, focused on our women’s divisions: Citizens of Humanity and AGOLDE. This role will be instrumental in shaping and growing the brands’ visibility, relevance, and resonance in the market through strategic storytelling, press engagement, and events. The ideal candidate is adaptable and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities, switching seamlessly between brands, and thriving in a fast-paced team environment. Working cross-functionally with global PR teams, sales, brand marketing, digital, and creative departments, this position will ensure alignment with the company’s global business objectives and brand initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Team Structure:
- Collaborate with the US PR team—including a Senior Manager of PR & Influencer Relations, PR Manager, and PR Assistant—to drive efforts and foster a high-performance, collaborative environment. Reports directly to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and Communications.
Strategic Development:
- Develop and implement press strategies to elevate brand visibility and reputation across key markets.
- Collaborate with design, sales, e-commerce, creative, and marketing teams to drive the growth and awareness of each brand in alignment with business goals.
Media Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, stylists and industry leaders to secure impactful coverage across print and digital platforms.
- Prioritize securing media placements that highlight the company’s sustainability initiatives and leadership in innovation.
Press Materials:
- Create and oversee press materials for product launches, brand news, partnerships, and events.
Event Conceptualization and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of brand events, including seasonal launches, press previews, and experiential activations.
- Works closely with the Sr. Manager to oversee gifting programs, content partnerships, and outreach campaigns to enhance the visibility of seasonal collections and support key company initiatives.
Philanthropic Initiatives:
- Drive PR efforts for the company’s philanthropic endeavors, including promotional gifting, talent engagement, event execution, and media communication.
Market Insights and Innovation:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and consumer behavior to inform strategic decision-making and creative ideation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in public relations and events, ideally within the fashion industry.
Skills and Attributes:
- Established relationships with top-tier fashion editors, stylists, tastemakers, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Proven track record of developing and executing PR strategies with measurable success.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset paired with strong leadership and direct management experience.
- High-energy, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with PR and media monitoring tools.
