Summary of Job Duties:

The School of Art in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Studio Art program. This position will report directly to the Studio Art Program Director.

The Program Coordinator will serve as the primary administrative support for the Studio Art Program Director, faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students. Responsibilities include assisting with travel arrangements, organizing purchase orders and receipts, and maintaining various spreadsheets and administrative forms. The Program Coordinator will also assist in managing social media content.

This position requires excellent customer service skills, agility, prompt response, and follow-up of tasks, along with the ability to create and maintain collegial relationships.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education of a bachelor’s degree
  • At least two years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in higher education
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to perform routine tasks and follow instructions
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks
  • Ability to be courteous and professional

Salary Information:

$43,923 annually
