Summary of Job Duties:
The Extra Help/ ESPN Camera Operator will assist with operating the camera and other duties as assigned. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for operating the camera equipment;
- Collaborate and work closely with the producer and the team;
- Responsible for operating various camera support equipment.
- Monitor technical aspects of the camera equipment during shoots;
- Must follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the team and themselves;
- Responsible for the maintenance and organization of camera equipment;
- Collaborating with the technical crews;
- Ensure that all equipment is tested and maintained before filming begins;
- Resolve technical and practical problems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Must be able to work home events as needed;
- Must be able to work weekends and late nights;
- Must be professional and punctual;
- Must respond quickly to directions;
- Need strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other crew members;
- Able to coordinate with camera assistants, grips, and other departments to ensure smooth camera movements and efficient workflow.
Salary Information:
Stipend of $50.00 per game
