Graphic Designer

Akkodis is seeking a Graphic Designer for a 12-month contract with a client in Lake Forest, IL 60045 (Onsite).

Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Lake Forest, IL 60045 (Onsite)

Contract: 12 months Contract

Pay Rate: $32-$35/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Qualifications:

Resumes should contain a link/portfolio to the candidate's work examples.

Key Skills:

1. Production Design/Graphic Design experience, including converting existing materials into templated designs.
2. Regular use of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
3. Knowledge of video/animation creation software such as Adobe Premiere.
4. Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint for Graphic Design purposes.
5. Experience creating graphics for website design (not a web designer, but must create web elements like JPEGs, GIFs, PNGs, etc.).

Bonus: Copywriting experience and responsibility for branding approvals.

Responsibilities include:

1. Creating and refining conceptual designs using specialized software packages.
2. Producing marketing strategies to meet clients' design goals and business objectives.
3. Building logos, style sheets, master pages, and templates in PowerPoint.
4. Directing design projects and organizing complex text and numbers into effective graphs and charts.
5. Staying updated with current industry design and communication trends.
6. Production experience with film or direct-to-press files.

Requires the ability to utilize one or more graphics packages without assistance and an understanding of text and graphic manipulation in the creative process. Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
