Duplitech is hiring: Film Remastering Technician in Torrance

We provide digital content solutions for Media and Entertainment platforms, streamers, FAST channels, and content owners. Our in-house services include: 4K film scanning & remastering, Blu-ray/DVD authoring, mezzanine package creation & QC for digital release, technical editing and asset conform, standards conversion, subtitling, and audio restoration/up mix.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Film/TV Mastering Operations
• Advanced knowledge of SDR/HDR Color Spaces and color management workflows.
• End to End hands on experience with the Dolby Vision Workflow
• In-depth hands-on experience with ColorFront Transkoder & Davinci Resolve
• Knowledge of Studio Delivery Specification requirements for ProRes, IMF and Image Sequence Deliveries
• Full understanding of resolutions, pixel aspect ratio, aspect ratios and frame rates
• Experience specifically with Film Remastering workflows is a major plus

Functions

• Refine workflows as needed and assist with training / development of others.
• Development of Presets and any spec changes needed.
• Review of MQC reports, working with team to analyze issues and determine what fixes needs to be made
• Implementation / verification of fixes as needed
• Creation of exported masters based on required specifications. Spot check exports to confirm they are correct.
• Review of final QC reports to confirm master is approved for delivery.
• Coordination with Data IO for final delivery.
• Complete tasks as assigned
