Annual Salary: $80,000-$85,000 (exempt position)
Must have flexible schedule: evening and weekend availability
Tracy Anderson is a specialized genre of fitness that is practiced and celebrated worldwide. It's a dynamic, holistic approach to movement designed for total-body balance, and built to evolve with clients throughout their lives.
At our members-only studios (New York City, Los Angeles, the Hamptons, London, and Madrid), we offer clients new weekly classes featuring the latest Tracy Anderson choreography, prescribed custom training regimens, one-on-one training, and other bespoke options.
Studio Manager Responsibilities:
- Take direction from the Head of Studios to assist with studio logistics and client services including group classes, private training, retail sales, and special events.
- Participate in networking or community events and studio promotions.
- Assist leadership to increase studio revenue through membership and private training, growth client retention, and generating retail sales.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Tracy Anderson Method services, programs, trainers and products, as well as start to understand key competitors.
- Create a motivating and harmonious environment to enhance the member experience.
- Ensure continual, positive customer service experiences, both by encouraging/overseeing staff and modeling these experiences in your own client interactions.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of our members throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide assistance to studio leadership on payroll processing.
- Work with finance by reviewing frozen member list every month.
- Assist in studio maintenance to ensure it maintains an upscale fitness atmosphere focused on customer success.
- Conduct daily walk-throughs of the studio to ensure it adheres to brand standards.
- Support Human Resources with documentation, coaching, processes, and onboarding.
- Supervise admin and trainer staff, offering suggestions for improvement, and helping conduct performance appraisals.
- Educate team on proper company policies and procedures.
- Assist with routine tasks including, but not limited to ordering supplies, conducting inventory, general studio maintenance, and oversight of MindBody Online.
- Ensure the studio and equipment remain impeccable and fully-functioning.
- Work in conjunction with the Head of Studios in the presentation and sale of retail within the studio.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders throughout the business and ensure alignment with the wider strategy of the company.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 4-5 years of prior management experience within upscale health and fitness, luxury retail, or hospitality space.
- Must have an affinity and passion for fitness, wellness, and helping people achieve their goals.
- Knowing what impeccable customer service means while keeping the business needs met.
- Positivity, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and commitment to the goals at hand.
- Ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and multi-task projects.
- Ability to excel in a fast-changing and diverse environment.
- Experience interfacing with high-touch clientele.
- Strong background in marketing and/or sales preferred.
- An entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to treat highly confidential information with care and discretion.
- Recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
- Flexible, tactful, and patient, especially under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail as well as solid organization/time management skills.
- Ability to plan workload and set or adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- Comfort navigating a schedule that can include occasional long hours, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Highly proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel).
- Bonus if working knowledge of MindBody Online software system.
