CFI is looking to have a Content Creator join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. The primary focus of this role is to create, manage and optimize product-related content to be used across multiple sales and marketing channels.
Essential Job Functions
● Write, edit, and manage product descriptions, images, videos
● Update and add product information into our PIM software; manage products within our database to keep information current
● Collaborate closely with designers, preproduction team and account managers
● Ensure accuracy in our digital and print projects and compliance with brand guidelines
● Strong understanding of AI tools and trends, with the ability to leverage them for content creation, optimization, and audience engagement.
● Handle manufacturers’ content corrections by updating relevant data and ensuring accuracy
● Maintain records for job clean-up, including archiving and organizing data for easy retrieval
● Send email reminders and communicate with graphic designers regarding database-related tasks
● Clean up project spreadsheets by verifying and updating information, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
● Assist with job pre-orders by researching and gathering necessary copy or data outside of the database
● Communicate with vendors via email or phone when required, addressing any inquiries or providing updates
Qualifications:
● Expertise in writing clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions
● Ability to analyze and edit existing content: specs and product descriptions
● Writing blog entries, marketing copy, and other content for websites, social media, print projects and email campaigns to display creative storytelling skills
● Proofreading and copy editing content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, consistency, conciseness, and engagement
● Develop expertise in the products being managed, including features, benefits, and differentiators
● Research capabilities to gather relevant product information
● Proficiency/technical ability in Excel, Google Suite, Adobe, new software programs
● Strong research skills
● Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
● The ability to work under tight and competing deadlines
● Adaptable team player who can work with different managers and designers
