As a member of the corporate marketing team, the National Marketing Intern will provide day to day support for the Brand team through project management of existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development and implementation of new initiatives aligned with company goals. We are looking for someone to start Spring 2025 on a part-time basis, moving into full-time come the summer 2025 internship program. The National Marketing Intern will: Provide project management support for the Brand team, coordinating execution of on-time, on-brand, on-budget marketing deliverables. Provide ongoing management of project management tools to support marketing projects and programs. Manage documentation and organization of corporate marketing assets, processes, procedures, and documentation, and provide recommendations for ongoing opportunities to streamline and ensure timely and consistent updates. Build relationships and partner across the Corporate Marketing team to identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes and programs. Support additional ad hoc marketing initiatives as assigned The stuff you will do: Work closely with internal business leaders to learn the homebuilding industry, the Meritage business model and an assigned functional area such as construction, land, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, human resources, etc. Learn our core values and why they drive everything we do Translate classroom experience into practical application during the internship Participate in cross-functional projects involving other interns and business leaders centered around current business challenges Present real world business recommendations to senior leadership that can help drive our strategy Write a paper focusing on the experience or another assigned topic Meritage Homes does not provide Visa sponsorship. earlycareer LI-KS1 Qualifications Self-motivated to independently manage timelines and execute projects Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field preferred Creative, solution-oriented problem solver with project management experience Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to organization and detail; ability to edit and proofread materials for grammar and content Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Teams applications a plus Highly organized and flexible with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment Strong team player with the ability to work well within cross-functional teams Actively enrolled in a degree program from a regionally accredited university or college Preferred: Experience working in a team environment on cross team or functional projects Experience dealing with ambiguity Relevant College Coursework/Majors: Business Administration Finance Marketing Real Estate Operations Project Management Overview Are you looking for an incredible career opportunity?
