We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to help us grow our impact by overseeing the strategy, creation, and management of content across our three brand verticals: Ecommerce (Ecomm), Partnerships, and Foundation. This role combines daily social media management, creative content creation, and strategic campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities


Social Media Strategy
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with 4ocean’s goals for Ecomm, Partnerships, and Foundation.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage environmentally conscious individuals, business leaders, and donors.
  • Stay ahead of trends and platform updates, adapting strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
Content Creation & Management
  • Plan, create, and schedule high-quality content (videos, graphics, photos, and written posts) across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Maintain a consistent, authentic brand voice while addressing the unique needs of each vertical.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and freelancers to create visually compelling, trend-driven, and impactful content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Lead campaigns, including educational initiatives, product launches, partner promotions, and fundraising efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Community Engagement
  • Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a strong sense of community.
  • Collaborate with affiliates, ambassadors, and partners to amplify campaign reach and engagement.
  • Monitor social media sentiment and escalate issues as needed.
Campaign Execution & Analytics
  • Plan and execute campaigns to promote product sales, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives, leveraging social listening tools and analytics.
  • Track, measure, and analyze performance metrics such as engagement rates, website traffic, conversions, and follower growth.
  • Provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with the Creative Director, Ecomm, Partnership, and Foundation teams to align social media efforts with broader organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and guide content creators, freelancers, and junior designers.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all campaigns.
Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
    • Proven success in managing and growing social media accounts for consumer brands, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, and video editing platforms.
    • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
    • Solid knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Google Analytics, platform-native insights).
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, audience segmentation, and UTM tracking for campaign performance.
  • Creative Leadership:
    • Ability to provide creative direction to content creators and freelancers.
    • Strong project management skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
