Day-to-day
As the UI technical lead in Macro Front Office Technology, you will lead a team to develop top-tier features, components, and end-user applications essential for consuming, manipulating, and visualizing a range of analytics created by the Macro Technology group. The primary users of these applications will be portfolio managers, Macro Management, Risk Management, and Valuations. Your main focus will be on building an integrated UI workspace that meets the expanding requirements of Macro portfolio managers, particularly in delivering real-time analytics for P&L and risk, as well as other complex pre-trade analyses. You will oversee collaboration with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to ensure logical and consistent interactions between services, APIs, and the UI. Additionally, you will execute an ambitious new feature roadmap in line with the target UI architecture, prioritize small UI features with a high delivery cadence, and drive design consistency from a UX perspective. Enhancing user experience efficiency for the team’s stakeholders, setting high standards for architecture and code quality through a robust development process, and training engineers on essential technologies to reduce skill and knowledge gaps will also be key responsibilities.
