Position Overview:
The UX Professional focuses on improving user experience in app and on physical products by coming up with creative solutions and by doing research on competitors.
Main Essential Duties and Functions of Job Position (but not limited to):
§ Working with products and apps to compare similar market products on a constant basis to learn how we can improve functionally via look and feel
§ Analyze new and current UX for hardware functions and UX design features to give insight how to enhance software
§ Deliver strategically creative ideas to enhance product configuration and user experience
§ Present new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development
programs with regard to engineering and manufacturing
§ Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and
production
§ Present the data to management and be instrumental with brainstorming on the next steps
§ Test and confirm new designs that were implemented by the developers and factories
§ Generate user experience feedback from different sources by following a preset process to share with management
Main Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
§ Responsible for comparing consumer products on the market to enhance brands
§ Analyze UX hardware and design firmware, gather data and present to management for review
§ Create strategies to improve product configuration and user experience
§ Draft technical solutions to use for testing products functionality
§ Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production, sales costs,
volume etc.
§ Gather user experience data from multiple sources and present feedback to management
§ Communicate with writers about updating manuals for publish and print
§ Minimal travel required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
§ Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred or previous experience in related field
§ Knowledge and previous experience working with electronics, apps, software
§ Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills and Abilities:
§ Must be able to type up to 65 WPM (words per minute) and have autonomous computer knowledge
§ Must be computer savvy and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
§ Solid technical skills and knowledgeable of electronics and terminologies
§ Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
§ Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
§ Able to adapt to change, solve problems and create solutions
§ Punctual and strong time management skills
§ Ability to meet urgent deadlines, organize and prioritize projects
§ Must be resourceful, work as a team player as well as independently
Physical Requirements:
§ Must be able to lift up to 20lbs, sit for extended periods of time, stairs, reach, twist, bend, stretch, climb, walk and/or run
Working Conditions:
§ Must be able to work shift hours and seasonal changes based on the needs of the business
§ Must be able to work in an office setting
§ Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Requirements:
§ Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US
§ Must be able to read, write and speak English
§ Must pass a Background Check
