About the Role

This role is part of the Business Development team at NewsBreak. This team identifies and sources new quality content partnership opportunities across the US. In order to do this, we build strong relationships with content partners that range from large media groups to small local publications and individual content creators. The Publisher Relationships Manager will own a portfolio of partners, ensuring the success of the relationship and projects associated. In addition, the Publisher Relationships Manager will find ways to maximize partner engagement, revenue opportunities and leverage cross-disciplinary internal teams to provide strategic counsel and insight. The role will require an individual who is proactive, not afraid to get his/her hands dirty, and is comfortable navigating through complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a client-facing partner, supporting BD in deal negotiations, structuring, and post-deal insights.
  • Collaborate with key accounts and BD leads to address inquiries, resolve reporting issues, and optimize content delivery.
  • Work with BD, product, and engineering to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new partners.
  • Track and manage partner agreements, pricing history, and key contract timelines.
  • Maintain critical account performance databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Provide timely revenue reports and insights to strengthen publisher relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 2 years of account management experience in digital media, tech, or a similar industry.
  • Passion for digital media and startups, with a curious mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communicator who can engage partners, simplify complex data, and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Comfortable working closely with product and engineering teams to improve partner experience and drive innovation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) to translate data insights into actionable strategies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options. $72,000—$134,000 USD
