Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Quince is looking for a talented Hair and Makeup Artist to join our team. In this role, you will work daily on fashion shoots, both on set and in studio, for product pages and editorial campaigns. You will collaborate closely with our Art Director, Creative Director, and production team to ensure our brand vision is brought to life with elevated aesthetics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute hair and makeup looks that align with the Quince brand and creative direction.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and Creative Director to achieve desired visuals for campaigns.
• Work closely with models, tailoring styles to complement wardrobe and shoot concepts.
• Be present on set to provide touch-ups, troubleshoot styling challenges, and maintain continuity across looks.
• Stay updated on trends in fashion, hair, and makeup to bring fresh ideas to each project.
• Ensure all tools and products are organized and in excellent condition to maintain efficiency on set.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in both hair and makeup, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in fashion productions.
• 3+ years of experience working on editorial or product-focused fashion shoots.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing needs on set.
• Strong understanding of lighting and photography to enhance looks appropriately.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring flawless execution of hair and makeup.
