We are seeking a dynamic and driven Website Content Manager to join our team in the boating industry. This role is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in data and metrics analysis and brand strategy to enhance our online presence and drive our business forward. As a Website Content Manager, you will be responsible for managing our website content to ensure it is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines. You will also be responsible for analyzing website data to identify trends and insights that can inform our content strategy. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update website content to ensure it is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
- Analyze website data to identify trends and insights that can inform our content strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a brand strategy that is reflected in our website content.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase traffic to our website.
- Monitor website performance and make adjustments to content as necessary to improve user experience and engagement.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure website content is visually appealing and aligns with our brand identity.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in SEO to ensure our website remains competitive.
- Develop and implement a content calendar to ensure regular content updates.
- Work with the legal team to ensure all website content complies with legal regulations.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in website content management, data and metrics analysis, or a related field.
- Experience in the retail or manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience conducting keyword research.
- Proficiency in using website analytics tools to gather and analyze data.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and experience developing content that reflects a brand's identity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems is a plus.
