Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is in search of an experienced Creative Manager to join our marketing team. The Creative Manager position is responsible for concepting and designing across multiple brands, ensuring consistency in the design of all materials, including brochures, sell sheets, ads, digital assets, and more. You’ll set the design bar for our creative team, ensuring all creative supports brand positioning and objectives, leading the team through successful execution of all assets and collateral. The role will interface heavily with internal stakeholders (including product marketing, product management, sales, sales ops, commercial excellence, engineering and leadership) and lead the management of creative agency partners.
The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end omni-channel creative execution, including strategy and ideation, segmentation and persona mapping, asset development, implementation, measurement and reporting.
The ideal candidate is a visionary creative leader with a passion for architecture, construction and the built environment and has the ability to translate brand identity into compelling visual storytelling.
Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
- Lead a team of creatives to create best-in-class assets for 3+ brands across North America. Maintain and curate video and image content collections. Work closely with cross-functional partners to understand creative performance and better optimize.
- Champion brand messaging and storytelling to drive differentiation, loyalty, and interest in our products and solutions.
- Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring a timely and consistent flow of creative assets that resonates with the target segments across various channels and formats.
- Enable efficient processes and use of tech stack tools.
- Oversee project communication, timelines and collaboration effort between marketing teams.
- Provide creative direction to ensure brand consistency and seamless campaign execution.
- Work with marketing team leveraging data to assess the impact and performance of campaigns, evolving assets for each channel to improve against key KPIs.
- Digital Asset Workflows: Oversee management of high-volume asset projects ensuring detail-oriented inventory, staging, mapping, tagging, and quality control of asset metadata.
- Content Management: Oversee organization and management of digital assets in DAM platform, including videos, images, and other multimedia files ensuring controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, file and folder naming conventions and structures.
- Manage, coach, evaluate and develop talent, and hold team members accountable to flawless execution with extreme attention to detail.
- Drive continuous improvement and a culture of excellence.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design or equivalent education.
- 5+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing, design or related function- manufacturing or AEC industry preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creatives from a variety of mediums.
- Expert use of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to align creative efforts with business objectives.
- Ability to rapidly understand and translate business challenges and solutions into marketable content to help drive revenue and pipeline.
- Proven ability to lead a creative team of designers and copywriters.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills to coordinate multiple activities.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CMS platforms an asset.
- Knowledgeable in content mapping to support each stage of the Buyer’s Journey.
- Thorough understanding of marketing metrics and correlating impact to business objectives.
