Marketing Intern Job at Catalyst Construction in Milwaukee

Summary:

The marketing internship at Catalyst Construction provides relevant experience for students pursuing a degree in Business Marketing or Graphic Design. Our program offers a realistic view of the marketing field through hands-on experience from designing and social media to market research and analytics. Interns assume a wide variety of responsibilities during their time at Catalyst. This position is part-time (up to 20 hours a week) during the semester and will transition to full-time during the summer. This position is onsite at Catalyst Construction’s downtown MKE location.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1. Assist and monitor content on our website and social media for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
2. Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends within our industry.
3. Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content, including copywriting.
4. Help with the planning and attendance of various company and client-related events.
5. Support the Director of Sales and Marketing and marketing team with admin tasks as needed.
6. Carry out research on a wide variety of companies and contacts across the sector.
7. Prepare documents and proposals to send to potential clients.
8. Attend meetings and trainings as assigned.
9. Complete projects as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
2. Pursuing a degree in Business Marketing or Graphic Design is preferred, but not required.
3. High level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with Owners/Clients.
4. Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign, Canva, HubSpot, and other CMS software.
5. Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day.
6. Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on project need/demand.
7. Reliable transportation.
