About The Position

AM, 8 Hours (0700-1530)

Guaranteed Hours:

40 Hours Weekly

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year pediatric OR experience preferred

License:

Active RN License

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Must-Have:

• Operating Room, Day Surgery, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience

Job Description:

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgery
• Assist in preparing operating rooms and surgical instruments
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and response to anesthesia
• Participate in orientation sessions totaling 80 hours
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
• No on-call requirement
