LOCATION:
This position will be located in our Headquarters office in College Station, Texas or our office location in Round Rock, Texas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, agribusiness, management information systems, business analysis or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of experience designing User Interface (UI)/ User Experience (UX) for Software Products. Knowledge of software tools for prototyping and design such as Figma and UXPin. Exposure to design thinking and lean environments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Story / Requirements Collaboration:
    • Facilitates the measurement and evaluation of key user experience indicators to help business owners of the various systems/applications understand balance between desired system features, the importance of user experience and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Visual Design:
    • Leads ideation, elaboration, and sketching sessions.
    • Distills business and customer needs into focused, understandable outcomes such as customer personas, storyboards, customer journey maps, and use case scenarios.
    • Designs wireframes and high-fidelity comps in adherence with design systems.
    • Champions style guide updates to design system based on user feedback, trends, and best practices.
  • Interaction Design:
    • Facilitates the development of use case scenarios, planning and execution of usability testing to be leveraged in the design of interactive prototypes.
    • Champions pattern library updates to design system based on user feedback, trends, and best practices.
  • Deliver Value:
    • Takes the necessary steps to deliver business value in service to customers and teammates to the maximum extent possible.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must be able to create experience design artifacts, including journey maps, service blueprints, personas, sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Familiarity with current design principles and techniques for software development is essential.
  • Must be able to produce well organized and reusable components.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact with association and bank management and staff, external vendors, prospective bank customers, and working with a team are essential.
  • Must be able to work on multiple concurrent assignments.
