Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

  • Manage product development activities
  • Work with product management, design, support and other dev teams to create high-quality solutions
  • Manage daily activities of the development team
  • Solve difficult and sometimes ambiguous problems and blockers
  • Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team
  • Solve reusable, modular and complex UI frontend architecture problems across the broader organization's application development teams

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 6+ years of experience with technologies relevant to SN and advanced coding skills
  • 1+ year managing an engineering team
  • Experience with open source tools and agile development environments
  • Fluency in one or more relevant programming languages (Java, JavaScript)
  • An understanding of broad concepts and experience using those concepts to understand and develop solutions for problems
  • Ability to execute a project based on our priorities, context, risks and desired outcomes
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to broker discussions across a range of internal teams to manage dependencies
  • Modern UI frontend development knowledge

Compensation and Benefits:

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $123,800 - $216,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
