Summer 2025 Internship Details:

Program dates: June 2 to August 8

10-week program with 35-hour work week

Hybrid, onsite work schedule: Tues, Wed & Thurs in office

Internship location in NYC

Compensation: $22/hr + a $2500 stipend

Applicants must be able to commit to full-time hours and the entire length of the program.

Applicants must be undergraduates and/or those actively enrolled in a specialized/technical certification program

What to Expect and important dates to keep in mind:

Applications close: February 28, 2025

Required: Initial screening conducted by our recruiting team virtually

Final interviews conducted by our hiring teams virtually beginning late February into early March

Internship offers will be extended by the recruitment team at the end of March into early April

Job Title: Intern, Data Science and Visual Analytics, Ops

Job summary

The Business Intelligence & Strategic Data Insights group at PVH is responsible for the creation and maintenance of machine learnings models to assist stakeholders in optimal decision making across varied responsibilities, including but not limited to inventory allocation, demand forecasting, and service level calculations. As an intern within the group, you will be responsible for assisting in the data gathering process, contributing to model development, and working with the team on a readable presentation to relevant stakeholders. This is an opportunity to learn about Data Science within consumer goods, and we will prioritize your growth in the field while simultaneously expecting you to contribute in a reasonable fashion.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Data cleaning and preparation on large datasets

Assisting in the creation of machine learning models for stakeholders

Successfully pulling datasets and learning basic data structure of PVH

Assist in creation of presentations, focusing on understandability of sophisticated topics to stakeholders

Creation of basic dashboards in MicroStrategy, PowerBI, or R Shiny

Education

Rising junior or senior undergraduate student with a declared major in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or any STEM field (or pursuing an Engineering degree) or other related field with intention to work in STEM upon graduating preferred

Minimum 3.0 GPA in core major classes preferred

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience / Skills

Previous relevant internship / work experience or proven curiosity about the industry

Proven academic leadership or extra-curricular activity preferred

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Strong analytical skills with data-oriented approach

Well organized, detail oriented, strong written and oral communication skills

Forward thinking, able to problem solve; self-starter with strong ability to meet deadlines and expectations

Great teammate with an eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment working across multiple teams

OPTIONAL:

Proficiency in high level programming languages (Python, R, MATLAB)

Some understanding of low-level programming languages (C++, C, Java) not required but preferred

Understanding of dashboarding software (Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) preferred

Exposure to SQL or willingness to learn

Basic understanding of Machine Learning algorithms (both supervised and unsupervised)

Basic understanding of time series methods.

OPTIONAL:

Creativity and curiosity in the areas of mathematics and computer science

Ability to develop solid understanding quickly on a variety of topics (both quantitative and qualitative)
