Create killer content for one of the country’s premiere cannabis brands.
Green Dot Labs (GDL) is seeking a creative powerhouse Creative Content Producer to join our team. You'll spearhead, conceptualize, shoot, edit, and finish the majority of our content for our owned and social media, as well content for retail partners. Focusing primarily on video, but also including photo and interactive content, the Creative Content Producer role is tailor-made for a dynamic individual with a flair for storytelling and a passion for crafting captivating narratives.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Execution:
- Craft authentic, story-driven visuals and narratives that align with campaign goals and brand voice, and include opportunistic content, evergreen content, and repeatable content series.
- Lead all aspects of content production, from ideation to final delivery, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Produce content (video and photo) tailored for various platforms and channels including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, our Newsletter and website, retail POS and more.
- Maintain a content pipeline and optimize future efforts based on performance insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop innovative content strategies.
- Stay ahead of social media trends and champion creative best practices.
- Produce both short-form and long-form video content tailored to specific platforms.
Collaboration & Events & Milestone coverage:
- Partner with influencers, creators, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
- Capture content at events and brand activations
- Onsite locations are predominantly our facilities in Denver and Boulder, with occasional travel to Phoenix/Tempe, and shooting across the front range as needed.
Operational Excellence:
- Streamline workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and creativity.
- Manage production resources, including freelancers and equipment, to meet project demands.
Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years creating authentic, social-first content with proven storytelling success.
- Portfolio: A standout collection showcasing brand storytelling through video and photography.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in videography and photography (DSLR, mobile), editing (Adobe Suite, After Effects), and AI-enhanced tools.
- Supporting multidisciplinary skill set – (nice to have) motion graphics, copy writing
- Social Media Expertise: Deep knowledge of channel and platform trends and best practices for social-first content.
- Production Experience: Skilled in both studio and on-location shoots.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and solution-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for the cannabis industry and authentic storytelling.
- Ability to travel
