SUMMARY The Senior Designer- Motion Graphics will be an integral part of the Creative team at BSE Global, driving the creation of innovative motion design solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. This role will bring key Marketing campaigns and cross-functional projects to life across a variety of channels. From initial concept to final execution, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives that resonate with target audiences. The Senior Designer will develop motion graphics and animation for a range of brands, including the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, and New York Liberty. The role will steward how priority initiatives are brought to life at Barclays Center for games and events, in collaboration with teams such as Game Presentation, Content, Marketing Management, Consumer Marketing and Arena Technology. A portfolio of your work will be required for consideration. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Craft impactful motion design concepts that elevate the visual storytelling of our brands for in-arena presentation, social media, OOH, experiential marketing and various other marketing platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt strategic concepts into visually striking motion design executions that match creative direction and brand strategies
  • Support the translation of brand and campaign styles guides to motion design elements
  • Liaise with the Game Presentation and Arena Technology teams to elevate the in-bowl experience and storytelling for Nets & Liberty games
  • Partner with the Creative and Content teams to develop large-scale campaign concepts that include motion design capabilities
  • Support creative development through joining meetings, crafting ideas and pitching unique approaches to apply motion design
  • Develop creative that dynamically showcases organizational priorities including Partnership activations, Ticketing campaigns and Event on-sales/promotion
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and find creative inspiration for the business
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • 7-10 years of experience in motion graphic design
  • Experience with arena or stadium game presentation design is very beneficial
  • Expertise working across Sports, Entertainment and/or Media is highly advantageous
  • Experience designing campaigns for signage displays, social media, web, and out-of-home formats
  • Able to submit a strong portfolio, highlighting relevant motion design work product
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Capable of reviewing briefs and developing concepts that deliver against goals/strategy
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to clearly present design concepts, explaining the rationale behind proposed solutions
  • Self-motivated and skilled at prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Capable of independently running projects from concept to completion
  • Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to create innovative, out-of-the-box designs
  • An excellent collaborator, willing to contribute to the team and business, however needed
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: May be required to travel on rare occasions (< 5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights. SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $120,000 WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays, when applicable.
