We are seeking a dynamic and organized Public Relations Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a passion for communications, media relations, and branding. The PR Assistant will provide essential support to the Public Relations department, assisting with media outreach, event planning, content creation, and various PR campaigns. The role requires a proactive, creative thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help maintain and update media contact lists.
- Monitor media coverage and track press clippings.
- Support the planning and execution of events, including press conferences, media briefings, and client engagements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create social media content and messaging strategies.
- Assist with preparing client reports and presentations.
- Help with day-to-day administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, answering calls, and maintaining files.
- Manage and update the company's press kits and media resources.
- Assist with crisis communication and reputation management, as needed.
- Conduct research to support ongoing PR campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and tools.
