The Daymaker Pant launched in 2015 delivering undercover comfort and versatility solving the age-old dilemma of – how can I look professional enough for work in a pair of pants that are so comfortable that I can also be down for whatever – including sneaking out to the links for that “business meeting” on that perfect summer Friday.

We’re looking for a Creative Director to help oversee this new phase for the brand and re-establish our look and tone across all customer touchpoints. The Creative Director will manage the Creative team and operations, ensuring the best possible creative outcomes are aligned with and in support of our business goals. The CD is responsible for the vision, strategy, and quality of all brand representation and its impact on the business objectives. The role requires a mindset of constant improvement, awareness of competitors and trends in and outside of the industry, and a passion for innovation. The Creative Director will lead the creative team to deliver best in class content across all customer touchpoints including web, email, paid and organic social, direct mail, and store signage.
This position will be based at our HQ in Chicago and report to our Chief Marketing Officer. Responsibilities
Manage, grow, and lead the Creative team. Manage operations of the Creative department to ensure quality and volume of output are aligned with the brand vision and business needs. Establish Brand Guidelines and ensure all creative work meets or exceeds expectations. Review, direct, and approve all touchpoints of the customer experience. Oversee and review production budgets and be responsible for the Creative team’s impact on the business goals, working closely with Product and Marketing to improve outcomes and create efficiencies. Monitor creative performance, identifying and executing opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency for both creative output and processes. Conceptualize, brief, and produce content with the in-house team or outside agencies for photo and video to be used in web, email, direct mail, organic and paid social, store signage, and all other customer touchpoints. Oversee creative production, from strategy to casting to final deliverables. Oversee all design for the brand in all customer-facing formats. Requirements
8-10+ years of agency or in-house experience. At least 5 years building, scaling, and leading creative teams. Proven track record of leading successful brand campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience leading agencies through a comprehensive rebrand, including the creation of a new brand ID, brand voice, and creative brand expression. Ability to create and execute creative campaigns and initiatives across all marketing platforms, including photo and video and graphic design. Experience weaving design and business objectives into strategically sound and effective creative that drives revenue. Ability to multitask as a leader, individual contributor, project manager, and cross-functional problem solver. Experience as a Design Director, creating process, standards, and guidelines for efficient creative production. Experience with creative resourcing, understanding how to get the most out of each individual contributor and delivering the best work possible. E-Commerce experience preferred. Ready to Apply?
