The role you’ll contribute:
The Senior Visual Designer is the highest level designer on the creative services team. This position is responsible for conceptual development of design solutions and the execution of creative deliverables, including producing and communicating concepts, leading brainstorming meetings, interaction with marketing teams, and pitching campaigns to clients and stakeholders. The Senior Visual Designer should possess strong creative skills and the ability to purposefully align creative practices with organizational goals. A design position that requires proven experience in creative environments, it also requires a strong design sense and ability to execute in a fast-paced, ever-changing and evolving environment. The position reports to the Manager of Visual Design.

- Concept and develop creative approach for assigned projects, reinforcing the organization’s overall strategic positioning and ensuring consistency of brand standards.
- Support efforts to establish creative designs that align the brand with established business goals, objectives, and strategies. Participate in brainstorming, conceptualization, and functional design execution.
- Serve as mentor to junior-level visual designers.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, recommending changes to design as appropriate.
- Serve as creative review for branding development, issues, and applications.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Design Sense – Solid aesthetic awareness and intuitive understanding of design principles.
- Presentation Proficiency – Able to provide polished presentations demonstrating alignment of creative approach and strategic requirements.
- Understanding of Consumer Experience – Familiar with the consumer experience and understand what drives consumer action.
- Knowledge of Marketing/Design Trends – Must be adept at determining if marketing campaigns will be successful, so they should have in-depth knowledge of current trends.
- Time & Project Management - Able to manage their time efficiently with experience and capacity to handle multiple projects at once.
- Creativity and Authenticity – Be creative and authentic in their beliefs and work. Responsible for the company image – consumers should be able to see that authenticity.
- Relationship Minded – Values interpersonal relationships and utilizes them to galvanize people and processes in a way that advances Marketing strategies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Branding, Marketing, or related experience.
- Minimum five (5) years in Graphic Design, Branding, and/or Marketing, with demonstrated engagement and success.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Experience in art-directing photo shoots.
- Illustration experience.
