Job Description:
We are seeking a Sports Marketing & Advertising Manager to support the activation of a high-profile sponsorship portfolio. This role will focus on managing integrated marketing campaigns, sponsorship activations, and strategic brand initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a passion for sports marketing, and a background in sponsorships. They must be able to develop and execute marketing programs across digital, social, traditional media, and live events while managing sponsorship property reviews and approvals.
This is a high-visibility role, requiring strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, agencies, and sponsorship partners to ensure impactful brand messaging and engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sponsorship Activation: Oversee key sponsorship activations across owned, paid, earned, and property channels for major sporting events.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with brand goals and sponsorship objectives.
- Creative Development: Work with internal and external creative teams to develop campaign assets, print ads, video content, and digital/social materials.
- Social Media & Content Strategy: Collaborate with internal social media teams to create compelling sponsorship-related content and manage campaign execution.
- Paid Media & Communications: Work with agencies to develop and measure paid media plans across digital, social, and broadcast platforms.
- Sponsorship Property Management: Ensure compliance with sponsorship guidelines, logo usage, brand messaging, and marketing placements.
- Event & Hospitality Integration: Work closely with event and hospitality teams to integrate sponsorship messaging into live events and activations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, finance, legal, and PR teams to ensure alignment and maximize sponsorship impact.
- Campaign Measurement & Reporting: Track and report on campaign performance, audience engagement, and ROI of sponsorship initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sports or sponsorship marketing.
- Proven experience in strategic marketing, project management, and integrated marketing.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with sponsorship property reviews, approvals, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Passion for sports and deep understanding of sports marketing trends and activations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating with agencies, media teams, and brand partners.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in paid media strategy and execution.
- Experience with video content development and production.
- Familiarity with digital, social, and traditional media channels.
