The Director of Modular Content will be a part of the Digital Innovation and Marketing Operations Team (DIMO) and report to the head of DIMO. DIMO’s mission is to drive digital transformation within the commercial organization that is rooted in continual enhancements focused on a digital-first mindset, which uses a test & learn culture while balancing operational effectiveness and personalized omni-channel customer engagement supporting Azurity’s commitment to ACE (Azurity Commercial Excellence), as we Serve Overlooked Patients.

As Director of Modular Content, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing Azurity’s content strategy to ensure effective and efficient development of snackable, multipurpose content to support our omnichannel engagement strategy. You will lead a team responsible for creating modular and multi-purpose content that can be used with different audiences and in multiple channels. This position requires a strategic thinker with an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, content development, and the MLR process (known as PMRC at Azurity).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a modular content strategy aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement governance process for modular content that allows for snackable, multi-purpose use and functionality in our omni-channel customer engagement model.
  • Enhance use of video content and messaging.
  • Lead and mentor the internal creative studio, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment where creative professionals thrive.
  • Evolve Azurity’s end-to-end content creation process, from ideation to execution, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, innovative, multi-purpose content.
  • Nurture a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, and accountability within the creative team.
  • Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams in a local and global environment.
  • Innovative Content Solutions:
    • Spearhead the development of innovative content solutions, using emerging technologies to enhance development and QC process.
    • Demonstrated success in optimizing creative workflows and resource allocation for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Partner with brand teams to understand content needs and integrate creative solutions to support brands' strategic imperatives.
    • Foster seamless collaboration between marketing and PMRC to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to content development.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • BA or BS degree (MBA or advanced degree a plus)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech and/or life science related digital marketing experience (Agency experience welcome)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing and development
  • Experience working with digital agencies and offshore internal and external partners
