Graphic Designer - Games Division - Packaging

Location: Pawtucket, RI
Hybrid on-site Tuesday-Thursday

Under the direction of the Creative Manager, this individual will concept, design, and execute game packaging and in-package print collateral that communicates gameplay and brand messaging. This 6-month rotation is responsible for lead graphic design and execution of packaging and print collateral for 2026 line plan additions, including backup support of all Game brands.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • (60%) Design in-package graphics for board games, that includes:
  • - Utilizing team insights to guide item-level design decisions.
  • - Understanding brand strategy, as well as Marketing, Engineering, and Design & Development objectives.
  • - Conceptualizing and presenting innovative concepts to meet brand-messaging objectives, deliver play experience, and story.
  • - Executing instruction guides that effectively communicate gameplay.
  • - Executing in-package printed collateral (brochures, posters, cross-sells, activity sheets, etc.) that conveys strong visual branding and marketing messages.
  • - Designing presentation decks, and possibly working on storyboards for gameplay videos.
  • (20%) Collaborate with development teams, that includes:
  • - Initiating and attending team meetings, project kick-offs, approval meetings, and status meetings.
  • - Understanding and working within cost parameters for design solutions.
  • - Monitoring and abiding by legal, licensor, and regulatory requirements.
  • (20%) Manage projects and delegate individual assignments, that includes:
  • - Driving multiple projects throughout staggered stages of development.
  • - Delegating whole or partial design projects to Hasbro production designers, internal agency temps, and outside vendors.
  • - Prioritizing work to maximize support and ensure high-quality results.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (PSD, AI, InD), video editing (After Effects or similar program will be a bonus), PowerPoint, Keynote.

Education & Experience

  • Mid-Level - Requires technical knowledge, training, and understanding of a job's requirements. Typically possesses 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience.
