SUMMARY / ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril Industries is seeking a highly skilled and motivated FPGA Design and Verification Lead to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design and verification of projects on the Xilinx SOC/FPGA platforms, leading a team of engineers, and establishing robust design processes.

  • Lead FPGA design projects from requirements gathering through to verification and final deployment.
  • Manage and/or mentor a team of FPGA designers and verification engineers.
  • Establish a clear process for moving projects from early prototypes to finished products, meeting military aerospace standards.
  • Develop and implement best practices and methodologies for FPGA design and verification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Oversee the creation of design specifications and documentation.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Setup and maintain an agile development environment, meeting both quick prototype and design assurance needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design and verification processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 10+ years FPGA development experience including HDL code development, simulation, test bench development, synthesis, and timing closure
  • Proven experience leading FPGA design and verification projects, ideally on Xilinx SOC/FPGA platforms.
  • Strong understanding of VHDL/Verilog, SystemVerilog, and verification methodologies (UVM/OVM).
  • Thrive in a fluid environment by creating and implementing processes that enable rapid prototyping and design assurance within strict timelines.
  • Experience leading a team and establishing culture necessary to develop and deliver robust HDL
  • Expert knowledge of Xilinx Vivado, along with experience with relevant tools such as Nix, JIRA, Git, etc.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with DO-254 or similar military/industry standards relevant to FPGA design and verification.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Tcl).
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware/software co-design, utilizing tools such as Xilinx Vitis

US Salary Range: $142,000 - $220,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
