The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales process from initial inquiry to booking, ensuring seamless client experience and contributing to the growth of our Food & Beverage division.
Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Handle inbound inquiries from potential clients through phone, email, and web forms.
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients via outbound calls, emails, and networking.
- Qualify leads, understand client needs, and present customized catering options.
- Create and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to secure bookings.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and repeat clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent and clear communication.
- Collaborate with clients to refine event details, including menu selections, dietary requirements, and logistical arrangements.
- Ensure a "Plus One" culture around guest experiences, consistently going above and beyond to provide a premium experience for guests and potential guests alike.
Event Coordination and Collaboration:
- Work closely with the culinary team, event planners, and operational staff to ensure flawless event execution.
- Coordinate and communicate all event details internally to ensure alignment across teams.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, proposals, and contracts in the appropriate system.
- Track and report sales performance, including bookings, revenue, and client feedback.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for management review.
Sales Strategy and Growth:
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets through effective planning and execution.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop creative sales tactics and promotional campaigns.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in inside sales, customer service, or related roles (experience in catering, events, or hospitality is highly preferred).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Customer Focus: Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining client relationships.
- Sales Acumen: Strong ability to identify client needs and close deals effectively.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience using TripleSeat, GoHighLevel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-Solving: Resourceful and adaptable in addressing client needs and resolving challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience working in a quota-driven sales environment.
