The Associate Director, Senior Project Manager for Creative and Brand Design within the digital department requires a combination of leadership, digital expertise, creative strategy, technical understanding, and people management skills to drive successful outcomes.
What you’ll be doing...
Managing all phases of project management, from ideation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
Anticipating, identifying, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery.
Managing budget and allocating financial and human resources efficiently, ensuring optimal project execution within budget constraints.
Managing integrated digital marketing projects cluding paid media, social media marketing, content creation, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and influencer collaborations.
Working with diverse teams, including designers, developers, marketers, copywriters, and external vendors or agencies, ensuring smooth collaboration across departments.
Managing conflicts between team members or between client expectations and project constraints.
Mentoring junior project managers or team members, helping them develop their skills and contribute more effectively to projects.
Articulating ideas and strategies clearly to clients, senior executives, and stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and clarity at all stages of the project.
Preparing clear, concise, and actionable reports that highlight campaign performance, lessons learned, and recommendations for future initiatives.
Managing timelines, budgets, and scope changes with clients or stakeholders without compromising project quality.
Aligning project management practices with overarching business objectives, ensuring that each digital initiative contributes meaningfully to the company’s success.
Managing project profitability, keeping an eye on costs, revenue, and return on investment (ROI) for every campaign.
Prioritizing tasks in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience with the following tools: G suite, Workfront JIRA/Confluence.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
A strategic mindset, strong communication abilities, and hands-on project management experience to execute complex integrated digital marketing campaigns, while fostering an innovative and collaborative environment within the team.
Willingness to meet tight deadlines and have a strong customer focus.
Willingness to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively both within one’s own team and across other Verizon CMO, IMC and Business Unit
A knack for creative thinking and innovative solutions, ensuring the team stays ahead of market trends and consistently delivers fresh, engaging ideas.
Keen awareness of the latest digital marketing trends, new technologies, and evolving consumer behaviors to keep the department's output relevant and cutting-edge.
Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks to manage iterative development cycles effectively, ensuring fast delivery while accommodating changing requirements.
Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles to guide creative teams in designing user-centered websites, apps, and other digital products.
Ability to delegate tasks appropriately, empowering team members while keeping overall control of project deliverables.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento), digital asset management systems, and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com to track progress, assign tasks, and report on project status.
While not required to be a developer, basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can be helpful to communicate effectively with technical teams.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $107,000.00 and $198,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
