Technical Grant Writer
to join our client's team. In this role, you will focus on researching, drafting, and submitting grant proposals that align with the customers' technology strategies. Your work will contribute to securing funding for technology-driven projects by effectively communicating complex technical concepts to funding agencies. The role involves strategic planning, training, evaluation, and management of grants to support technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities Grant Research and Proposal Development Research and identify technical grant opportunities that align with customer technology strategies. Collect and analyze data to support compelling and accurate grant proposals. Write and edit grant applications, ensuring alignment with funding agency requirements and organizational objectives. Strategic Planning and Collaboration
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align grant proposals with strategic technology goals. Participate in strategic planning sessions to identify grant funding needs and opportunities. Work with subject matter experts to gather technical information for grant submissions. Grant Management and Evaluation
Track grant applications, submission deadlines, and funding agency guidelines. Monitor and report on the progress of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with requirements. Conduct evaluations of grant-funded projects to assess their impact and effectiveness. Training and Process Improvement
Provide training and guidance to staff on grant-writing best practices. Develop and refine processes for researching, writing, and managing technical grants. Stay updated on funding trends and policies to inform grant-writing strategies. Qualifications and Skills Education
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field. Experience
Proven experience in grant writing, preferably for technical or technology-focused projects. Familiarity with grant funding agencies and processes. Technical Skills
Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts clearly. Proficiency in using grant management tools and software. Strong research and analytical skills to identify suitable funding opportunities. Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
