Lead Marine Piping Designer

Insight Global is currently seeking a Lead Marine Piping Designer to join a leading shipbuilding client supporting the U.S Navy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing piping diagrams and specifications in 3D and 2D AutoCAD, and ensuring compliance with NAVSEA regulations in Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCad. Designs will undergo review by a Senior 3D Checker to ensure adherence to Navy Specs.

• ShipConstructor or Navis software experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Excel
• Associate degree in an Engineering concentration
• 10+ years of experience in ship piping design
• AutoCAD 2D and 3D piping designing
