Job Description

Role: ASIC Designer

Location: Waukesha, WI (ONSITE from Day 1)

Job Type: Contract

Interview: Phone/Skype

We're seeking a Senior ASIC Designer to develop and guide ASICs for MR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide ASIC development for mixed-signal and digital design
• Collaborate with ASIC simulation, design, and hardware teams
• Define and execute ASIC test and verification plans
• Support verification using industry standards (UVM)
• Write functional specifications and provide technical support
• Model, build, test, and modify prototypes
• Ensure compliance with specifications and product requirements
• Engage in all phases of new product introduction

Experience & Skills:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or similar with 10+ years in mixed signal ASIC design
• Full cycle mixed-signal ASIC development experience
• Proficiency with analog ASIC design tools (Synopsys, Cadence)
• Experience with digital ASIC design and simulation tools (System Verilog/VHDL, QuestaSim, Xcelium)
• Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent tools
• Knowledge of project management processes
• Experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
