Job Description Your Career As a Principal Product Marketing Manager focused on AI and Platformization, you will drive messaging and set and execute the marketing strategy for two pivotal areas of our business: Palo Alto Networks approach to Artificial Intelligence and our platformization strategy. Your work will be instrumental in showcasing how our AI-driven solutions and integrated platforms deliver exceptional security outcomes for our customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, sales, PR, Social, and field marketing— across multiple business units to craft and execute compelling narratives that resonate with technical audiences and business leaders alike. You’ll bring a deep understanding of AI technologies, the cybersecurity landscape, and customer challenges, transforming complex product features into clear, impactful, and differentiated stories that demonstrate value and drive adoption. Your Impact Develop Core Narratives and Messaging – Lead the creation of foundational messaging and positioning for Palo Alto Networks’ AI security solutions and platformization strategy Drive High-Visibility Launches – Own and orchestrate high-profile corporate launches, aligning multiple product and platform releases under cohesive marketing strategies to maximize impact and awareness Create High-Impact Content – Develop a wide range of customer-facing assets, including whitepapers, datasheets, blog posts, case studies, and executive presentations, that communicate the value and differentiation of AI-powered security and our platform approach Lead Marketing Strategies – Define and execute marketing strategies for product launches and integrated campaigns, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful adoption and achieve business goals Be a Trusted Evangelist – Represent Palo Alto Networks in front of customers, partners, sales and industry influencers. Actively participate in events, webinars, training and thought leadership opportunities to reinforce our leadership in AI security and platformization Qualifications:

Qualifications Your Experience 10+ years of product marketing experience, with a proven focus on AI, cybersecurity, and/or the evolution of point solutions into integrated platforms Demonstrated track record of driving successful product launches and market adoption, including crafting impactful messaging, creating compelling content, and measuring performance to refine strategies Exceptional ability to lead and execute complex projects, working effectively with diverse stakeholders and aligning varying perspectives to achieve common goals Expertise in translating sophisticated technical concepts into clear, value-driven narratives that resonate with both technical and business audiences Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience engaging executive leadership, technical teams, and customers in meaningful and persuasive ways Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, execution, and measurable outcomes across all phases of product marketing Proven delivery as a creative world class storyteller who brings complex technical and business concepts to life in a way that connects with target audiences from CxO to practitioner Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required - advanced degrees or certifications in AI, cybersecurity, or related fields are highly desirable or equivalent military experience This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to drive the future of AI-powered security and platformization, shaping how the industry and customers approach AI in the context of network security. Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $211000 - $289000/YR.
