The Marketing Assistant supports the digital marketing, brand awareness, content creation and creative services work handled by the Marketing Department. The assistant will provide support in the fields of content management, market research and analysis and administrative support. The Marketing Assistant works within a highly collaborative team environment and partners closely with other departments and offices across the organization.
Essential Duties:

Track, respond to and coordinate all regional office requests

Assist in the management of content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of blog posts, social media updates and newsletters

Draft, proofread, edit and publish marketing materials, emails and website content

Create infographics, charts and other visual elements for blogs

Conduct research on market trends and competitors

Analyze campaign data, including blogs, social posts and advertising

Develop market benchmarks, determine trends with data, and report to the team
-
Gather insights to support marketing strategies and presentations

Organize and maintain marketing files, collateral, and databases
-
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, coordinate with other departments and compile reports

Participate in brand awareness campaigns and initiatives

Aid Maxim offices and internal departments with branding & content training and support

Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business or a related field preferred

1-2 years of marketing experience (internships included) preferred

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) required; familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Knowledge of digital marketing platforms like Google Ads, social media, and email marketing tools

Strong writing and organization skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Proficiency in the English language required

Excellent communication skills
Wage/Salary Information:
$45,000 - $55,000, with a $5,000 annual bonus potential
