Title: User Experience (UX) Designer
Duration: 12 months
Location: 100% Remote (8am - 5pm) PST
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points ttend requirements gathering meetings between business systems analysts and the subject matter experts for the applications. Organize and structure content to create intuitive navigation and user flows. Ensure designs are inclusive and usable for people with diverse abilities. Develop and maintain consistent design guidelines and components. Create mock-ups of the pages of the web application and present drafts to the technical team and subject matter exports for feedback. Experience Skillset Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5 years of professional experience in UX design (or 3 years with a Master's degree in a related field). Experience designing interfaces and workflows for enterprise/business applications. Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Collaboration and teamwork skills. Proficiency in UX design tools (e.g., Axure RP, Figma, etc.). Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common design frameworks (such as Bootstrap, Foundation, Tailwind, etc.) Experience working in waterfall methodology Preferred experience. Experience in designing applications for academic administration. Knowledge of software development and the enterprise environment. UI development experience with ReactJS.
