Description: • We are seeking an experienced Broadcasting Network Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance network systems supporting enterprise broadcasting operations. • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure seamless connectivity and high availability of services.
Responsibilities: • Plan, procure, design, configure, and commission network infrastructures for monitoring and incident management. • Develop and maintain network documentation, ensuring compliance with operational policies. • Analyze and monitor network infrastructure to optimize system performance and reliability. • Troubleshoot network issues, implementing effective resolutions to improve performance. • Oversee system performance, recommending and executing necessary updates, enhancements, and preventive maintenance. • Collaborate with external service providers and network carriers to ensure high-quality service delivery. • Develop and implement risk management strategies for high-availability network operations. • Provide 24/7 support for network services and infrastructure. • Research and implement emerging networking technologies to enhance performance. • Assist leadership with strategic and tactical network planning and budget development. • Act as an escalation point and mentor for technical teams.
Required Skills: • Minimum 8 years of experience managing mission-critical network environments in a high-availability setting. • Leadership or team lead experience preferred. • In-depth understanding of network architecture, including LAN/WAN and enterprise connectivity solutions. • Proficiency in network hardware configuration, including routers, switches, firewalls, and security gateways. • Advanced knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. • Experience with network monitoring tools and traffic management technologies. • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
Desired Skills: • Expertise in multicast networking and media content delivery. • Hands-on experience with video and audio over IP technologies. • Knowledge of network security practices, including firewall management and intrusion detection. • Familiarity with virtualization platforms and remote access solutions. • Experience with IT service management frameworks and best practices. • Industry certifications such as CCNP or equivalent preferred.
Compensation: Pay Range: $112000K-$160000K
