DURATION: 5 months with possible conversion
PAY RANGE: $38-48/hour
TOP SKILLS:

• 5+ years of experience designing and producing content for a technical audience
• Must have expertise in XML and Git
• Proven experience designing documentation for software APIs
• GenAI and Asana knowledge a plus

Job Description:
Our client is looking for an outstanding technical writer to support their AI services. Ideally, you have both a technical background that enables easy interaction with software developers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation. You must demonstrate excellent writing skills, communicating complex ideas clearly and concisely for business users as well as technical audiences. This position requires a self-motivated, independent, quick learner who thrives in an ambiguous, highly technical, and fast-moving space. You must have expertise in XML and Git.

Key Responsibilities:

• Author and deliver high-quality conceptual and procedural content, API reference documentation, and code examples
• Write customer-facing text for consoles and help panes
• Work with other writers, engineers, PMs, and SDMs to learn about and deliver documentation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience designing and producing content for a technical audience
• Experience working directly with teams of software engineers and product managers
• Experience designing, planning, and delivering content for a technical audience
• Proven experience designing documentation for software APIs
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a proven ability to work on multiple complex projects concurrently
• Experience with XML-based publishing systems
• Familiarity with using and following a style guide
• GenAI and Asana knowledge a plus
