Channel Impact is seeking an Event Content Production Manager to join our events team. In this role, you will serve as a Session Lead and the primary client Sales Meeting point of contact for speakers, content owners, and Communications managers to drive quality development and on-time execution of assigned sessions. As a member of the Client core Team, you will work closely with content stakeholders to deliver in-person session experiences that align to strategic business priorities and overall program objectives as defined by Sales leadership and the client sales meeting Leadership team.
This is a full-time position with benefits, for a remote worker within the US.
What you will be doing:
Pre-program Content Development and Session Production
- Serve as primary point of contact to assigned Session Program Managers (SPMs) and Communication Managers (ExComms) to provide guidance on content development, brand compliance, key deliverables, and available resources required to successfully develop and deliver their sessions.
- Communicate and support Content Production (CP) processes, deliverables, and timelines to ensure that session development aligns to overall program priorities and objectives.
- Drive integration of critical messaging priorities and key focus areas to ensure consistent and relevant messaging aligned to strategic business priorities as defined by Cisco Executive Leadership.
- Manage post-production editorial for all assigned sessions.
- Ensure on-time delivery of recorded assets to client platforms and digital platform teams.
- Serve as liaison between content stakeholders, the CP team, and our creative partners to identify, communicate, and coordinate production requirements for assigned sessions (demos, integrated videos, polling, Q&A, etc.).
- Drive adoption and use of event tools and resources to facilitate session development, drive consistency, and deliver high-quality results (Resource Central, Session Builder Tool, impact.cisco.com, media toolkits, and brand assets).
- Manage speaker requirements and processes in accordance with attendance criteria and guidelines.
- Monitor Session Builder Tool (SBT) to track on-time completion of session deliverables and quality-check submissions.
- Facilitate bi-weekly touchpoints with assigned SPMs to instruct, reinforce, and/or clarify processes, guidelines, and training outlined during Global Content Production Calls and/or Breakout Workshops.
- Facilitate storyboard reviews and final show-flow/pre-production reviews with Executive Sponsors and content teams to ensure readiness for onsite execution and/or session recordings.
- Attend all CP-sponsored meetings including Core Team Meetings, Global Content Production Calls, Breakout Workshops and tutorials, content reviews, and pre-production calls.
- Assist with additional special CP projects as needed.
Onsite Execution and Digital Program Support
- Support Content stakeholders (SPMs, ExComms, speakers, etc.) in Speaker Ready Room to ensure readiness and successful session execution – Includes rehearsals, on-time delivery of creative assets, session survey support, and post-event archive of final assets on SalesConnect.
- Attend sessions onsite where possible to review execution and delivery of session content, and collect feedback for debrief input.
- Serve as primary point of contact to session owners for any session or program related issues or questions.
Post-Event
- Schedule and facilitate post-event debrief sessions as needed with SPMs and content teams; document all findings including a summary recommendations or priorities for future program planning.
- Collect and submit final cross-charge approvals and cost center details per specified post-event reconciliation process for all assigned Breakout Sessions.
- Distribute final session and end-of-conference reports to assigned stakeholders.
- Assist with final Centers of Excellence (COE) documentation.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in Content Management for a high-tech company (Required).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills and passion for quality.
- Delivers quality results while managing multiple priorities against tight deadlines.
- Thinks independently and strategically while delivering short-term tactical solutions; able to articulate and support program objectives and strategies while driving day-to-day activities.
- Maintains a positive attitude and works well in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and direction.
- Able to build strong rapport with key stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally with global teams.
- Ability to travel 10 - 15%.
